Update on Trinity Point Church and COVID-19
I wanted to update everyone on what is taking place with the Virus and closings. As many of you know, many schools, including the BISD, are closed. Further, the NRH library and event center are closed as well. I have been working with the city, and they have decided to close the Link effective this Saturday. However, they are allowing us to continue to use it this Sunday. So we will have regular services this Sunday at the Link at 10:30 AM.
I also have for the past two weeks been in contact with several churches in the community in hopes of them allowing us to rent space from them. While your elders and I knew this might take place, we didn’t know the timing. The decision took place in a meeting this afternoon.
We will continue to have worship services during this time; I can’t tell you where; but we will notify you as soon as we have it worked out. IF we have to go online until April 6th when the Link reopens, we will do that. But my hope is to continue to meet as scheduled.
By Sunday morning, I hope to be able to tell you where and what time our services will be.
My apologies for not letting you know sooner, however, I have tied up until this evening. If you have any questions, please call my office at 817-663-8459.
In His Service,
Trinity Point Church
